The School of Accountancy (SOA) Advisory Board is comprised of accomplished professionals from public accounting, industry, governmental agencies and non-profit organizations. Members bring vast and varied experiences to the Board and have the shared pride of being a Bobcat. Through their professional endeavors, they have shown individual success and bring credibility to the School and College. The SOA Advisory Board represents what our graduates strive to become.
Beyond supporting initiatives within the School and College, SOA Advisory Board members provide valuable insights into the current state of the accounting profession. Their input helps ensure that our curriculum remains relevant and aligned with the constantly evolving professional accounting and business community.
The School of Accountancy Advisory Board serves as a bridge between the academic world and professional accounting community. The connections across public accounting, industry, governmental, and non-profit sectors enhance faculty teaching and research, and provide students with valuable mentorship opportunities. As students advance and begin to think about post-graduation opportunities, the SOA Advisory Board members are there to offer professional advice and support to Bobcats entering into the professional accounting landscape.
