Admissions Requirements

  • GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Petition for exceptional consideration/below 3.0 Form
  • Official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended
  • Online application with $50 application fee
  • MSW application requirement checklist
  • Professional resume
  • Three letters of reference
  • Personal statement
  • Professional expectations of student behavior form

Advanced Standing Only:

  • Bachelor鈥檚 degree in social work from a CSWE-accredited institution, completed within the last 7 years
  • B or above in all required social work classes
  • Most current field evaluation
  • One reference from field instructor

  • Application Deadlines

    Online students are able to begin the program any semester. All submitted applications must be completed with all required materials within one week after the deadline.

    The spring deadline for submitting applications is November 25 (for priority consideration).

    The summer deadline is March 31.

    The fall deadline is July 21.
