We recommend adding these deadlines and events to your calendar and sharing them with any parent or guardian who may be assisting you.

Experiential Living Opportunities (ELOs)
We provide distinctive experiential living opportunities that promote personal growth and development within a residential setting. These experiences are built around shared values and are designed for students seeking connections with peers who have similar interests or backgrounds. Some living arrangements involve a contractual agreement to maintain community standards and peer accountability, with specific participation expectations, such as Substance-Free Housing. For those interested in the Transfer Student Community, an additional application is required. You can find applications and more details about each unique living opportunity on our Experiential Living Opportunities website. Please refer to the timeline below for important deadlines related to these processes.
Returning Student Room Selection Timeline
December 1: Housing contract available at 9 a.m. on
December 1: Roommate matching available on beginning at 9 a.m.
February 25: Eligibility deadline for the room selection process (contract and deposit must be submitted by 4 p.m.)
March 2 by 9 a.m.: Update Personal Information on Housing Self-Service if interested in any Experiential Living Opportunities
March 4: Room selection times released on
March 18-19: Experiential Living Opportunities, Triple, and Upperclass room selections
March 23-25: General and Mixed Housing room selections
April 1: Room Change Process opens at 9 a.m.
May 1: Deadline to cancel the housing contract and receive a refund of the $200 housing deposit
July 31: Room Change Process closes at 12 p.m.

April: Check OHIO email account frequently
May 1: Deadline to cancel the housing contract and receive a refund of the $200 housing deposit

May 4 by 9 a.m.: Update Personal Information on Housing Self-Service if interested in any Experiential Living Opportunities
