Updating FlexWork Arrangements: User Guide
- Log in to using your OHIO credentials.
- Select My Personal Information from the left navigation menu, then select FlexWork Tracker.
- A new tab will open automatically. If this tab does not appear, you will need to disable the pop-up blocker on your browser.
- Locate the row with your active employment assignment. Select the plus icon (+) under the Action column.
- If you have previously entered a FlexWork arrangement, this will be a pencil icon that will allow you to edit the arrangement.
- Only primary assignments are reflected in the FlexWork Tracker. If you do not see your primary assignment, contact UHR.
- Complete the FlexWork Arrangement categories.
- By default, employees should select an Arrangement Type of Ongoing, unless otherwise discussed with your supervisor.
- For an Arrangement Type of Temp or Summer select the Anticipated End Date.
- Important: This field should be treated as anticipated. Your record will not automatically update on this date. You must update your FlexWork Tracker arrangement by this date to be taxed correctly.
- For an Arrangement Type of Temp or Summer select the Anticipated End Date.
- Start Date will be today's date or the date that the FlexWork arrangement will begin.
- The FlexWork Tracker does not allow you to select past dates. If your arrangement has already begun, select today's date.
- In the Flextime Arrangement field, include a brief description of the arrangement worked out with your supervisor. Include location and days / hours worked.
- By default, employees should select an Arrangement Type of Ongoing, unless otherwise discussed with your supervisor.
- Select your Remote Status:
- Select Home if you work from home.
- Occasional work from campus does not need to be noted unless you work 20+ days per calendar year on campus. A day is more than half your working hours spent on campus per date.
- New fields will appear. Disregard and proceed to the next step.
- Select Onsite if your work on campus.
- Occasional work from home does not need to be noted unless you work 20+ days per calendar year at home. A day is more than half your working hours spent at home per date.
- Your primary campus location from MPI will appear. If you only work from this location, do not change any fields and proceed to the next step.
- If you work from more than one campus, select Add Another Row.
- If you work 20 days or less, it does not need to be reported on the FlexWork Tracker.
- Select the dropdown arrow to choose the campus location.
- Populate the Percent rows to equal 100.
- Percentages must be whole numbers between 7 - 93.
- Do not include a percent (%) symbol.

- Select Hybrid if you work a combination of at home and onsite.
- New fields will appear. Populate the Location Home Percent and Location Onsite Percent fields. These must equal 100.
- Add additional rows as needed if you work from multiple campuses.
- Select Home if you work from home.
- Select the Acknowledgement box to acknowledge that you have met all requirements for the FlexWork arrangement. Then select Next.
- A new screen will appear summarizing the information you have entered. Review this information carefully.
- Select Back to make corrections.
- Select Submit if the information is correct.
- Once submitted, the FlexWork arrangement is sent to your supervisor for approval.
- To view the approval status, log in to the FlexWork Tracker.
- To edit your FlexWork arrangements, navigate to the FlexWork Tracker and select the pencil icon.
- Reminder: Temp and Summer arrangements will not automatically update. You must return to the FlexWork Tracker to upate the arrangement.
- Selecting Details will display the information you submitted.
- Selecting Home will return you to the FlexWork Summary page. To return to the myHR homepage, navigate to .
