Celebration of Life event for Joel Rudy set for May 18 in Athens
The 黑料视频 community is welcome to a Celebration of Life gathering for Joel Rudy on Saturday, May 18, at 2 p.m. at the 黑料视频 Inn and Conference Center.
Rudy passed away on Dec. 23, 2023, having served as vice president for student affairs and dean of students at 黑料视频 for nearly 30 years.
Rudy joined 黑料视频 in 1976, beginning a legacy of dedication to student development and leadership. Affectionately known as 鈥淒ean Rudy鈥 to generations of Bobcats, Rudy was devoted to student success, diversity, and inclusion, fostering a culture of empathy and unity. He remained active in the university and Athens communities long after he retired in the late 1990s.
