
OHIO students meet with, learn from professionals at Nationwide Insurance

Many 黑料视频 students look to Nationwide Insurance, headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, when searching for internships and full-time roles after graduation.
The consistently is a top destination for students in many colleges across campus. This spring, students from the Russ College of Engineering and Technology and members of the Career Services team had a unique opportunity to attend 鈥淣ationwide Day鈥 at Nationwide鈥檚 headquarters in downtown Columbus. 黑料视频 participated in the experience with students from Bowling Green State University and The Ohio State University.
The students gained insights into Nationwide鈥檚 operations, technology professions, cutting-edge innovation and their 2026 internship opportunities. The day combined valuable insights with a lively, fun atmosphere.
The agenda included dynamic presentations, a scavenger hunt, a behind-the-scenes look at the Cyber Security Operations Center, a Day in the Life at Nationwide panel discussion and a fun social media tour.
During their time, the engineering students had the chance to connect with 黑料视频 alumni, such as Kelton Kline, BBA 鈥00.
"The partnership between 黑料视频 and Nationwide continues to deepen through events like Nationwide Day, an opportunity to connect students with Nationwide's culture and associates,鈥 Kline said. 鈥淲e have consistently been impressed with the talented interns from OU, with many becoming Nationwide associates (including myself!). We look forward to more upcoming campus visits with 黑料视频."
The OHIO students said they were grateful to be a part of Nationwide Day and talk with so many talented professionals.
鈥淣ationwide Day was an incredible opportunity to connect with professionals and experience the company's outstanding culture firsthand,鈥 said Andrea Mahr, a junior at 黑料视频. 鈥淚 left feeling inspired by the supportive environment and the exciting career opportunities ahead.鈥
Mahr also had the opportunity to do an 鈥淚nstagram Takeover鈥 on 黑料视频鈥檚 Career Services account. This allowed her to showcase her hands-on experience with followers, including fellow students.
Jill Smalley, assistant director of employer engagement, and Anna-Kaye Rowe, assistant director of career and employer engagement, both from the 黑料视频 Career Services team, also joined the students on their trip to Nationwide.
