Call for nominations – Outstanding Administrator Award

Do you have an outstanding colleague? Nominations for the 2025-26 Outstanding Administrator Award are now being accepted through Oct. 14, 2025.

All members of the University community – administrators, faculty, staff, and students – are invited to nominate OHIO administrators for the Outstanding Administrator Award. For more than 50 years, the award has been given each year to three administrators for their outstanding contributions to OHIO.

The can be submitted online and takes fewer than 15 minutes to complete. The deadline for nominations is 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 14. 

Award recipients are honored at the annual Service Awards ceremony hosted by Administrative Senate in the spring, where they receive recognition from President Lori Stewart Gonzalez and a $2,000 award. Their names will also be inscribed among past recipients on a plaque on display in Chubb Hall.

A selection committee comprised of administrators, faculty, classified staff, and graduate and undergraduate students will review nominations for the award. Selection of the recipients is based on exemplary job performance and accomplishments.
