Celebrate Cybersecurity Awareness Month during the month of October with OHIO鈥檚 Information Security Office.

The office has many activities planned for the coming month and the organizers hope you will join in to strengthen your knowledge of cybersecurity. All members of the OHIO community will have an opportunity to participate in one or all of the activities outlined below.

Cybersecurity Coffee Chat Sept. 24: Data Storage and Retention

All OHIO employees are invited to join this special event for light refreshments in Baker University Center 239 from 8:30 -10 a.m. as the presenters provide an overview of data storage best practices at 黑料视频. Learn the acceptable storage locations based on data type. Learn about the different sensitive data times and online resources that can assist you in your decision making. The presenters will also discuss best practice guidance for data retention.

Help OHIO beat Miami in the 3rd Annual CyberMania Competition 

The third annual CyberMania competition against Miami University begins Sept. 26. Help us prove that Bobcats are cyber smart by completing a short 5 question survey about your confidence with cybersecurity concepts.

The school with the most participants wins, and all participants will be entered into a drawing to win a prize from the Information Security Office. The competition kicks off on Sept. 26 at 8 a.m. and concludes Oct. 31 at 11:59 p.m. You can visit the CyberMania Scoreboard to check in on the score throughout the competition.
