From revolutionizing injury recovery to advancing clean water solutions, pioneering carbon research, and guiding research at the International Space Station, OHIO鈥檚 graduate students play a pivotal role in supporting the University鈥檚 prestigious Carnegie R1 designation.

To honor their contributions, the Graduate College is excited to announce the launch of GradImpact, a new recognition initiative to celebrate graduate students who have made an impactful difference at 黑料视频 through their research, teaching, or service. The Graduate College launched the GradImpact series in September 2025.

鈥淕raduate students are an invaluable part of the social and academic fabric of our institution,鈥� said Nathan Blackburn, director of communications and professional development for the Graduate College. 鈥淲e want to illustrate the many ways graduate students make 黑料视频 a great place to study, learn, and live.鈥�

GradImpact highlights the diverse ways graduate students contribute to the mission of 黑料视频 through contributions to research, use of innovative teaching practices, or dedicated service and leadership. Faculty are invited to nominate outstanding graduate students, masters or doctoral, from any discipline who exemplify excellence, leadership, and positive impact.

GradImpact Nominees should:

• Be currently enrolled in a graduate program (master鈥檚 or doctoral; online or residential)
• Have demonstrated a clear and positive impact in at least one of the following areas:
• Research 鈥� original contributions, collaborative projects, creative scholarship
• Innovation- contributions via entertainment media, physical or digital art, technological innovation, medical, or any other related fields
• Teaching 鈥� excellence as a TA or instructor, mentorship of peers, curriculum development
• Service 鈥� involvement in university committees, student organizations, or community outreach
