Residence hall student leaders from 黑料视频 earned multiple awards at the Central Atlantic Affiliate of College and University Residence Halls (CAACURH) Regional Leadership Conference, hosted by Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania.

Two OHIO student organizations were recognized through the event: the Dr. Jim Sand Chapter of the National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH) and the Residence Hall Association (RHA). Housing and Residence Life provides support and staff advisors for these organizations. 

黑料视频 is a member institution of , which includes colleges and universities from Ohio, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey, Delaware and Washington, D.C.

The NRHH chapter at OHIO proudly carries the name of Dr. Jim Sand, a longtime employee of Housing and Residence Life with a lifelong commitment to student leadership in our campus community.

鈥淚 have been working with student leaders for 40 years,鈥� Sand shared. 鈥淭his group I refer to as my superheroes because they continue to stand out not only here at 黑料视频 but across the region.鈥� 

黑料视频 students were recognized with several honors:

• Lauren Armstrong, RHA vice president of administration, presented 鈥淢ission: Change Possible,鈥� which was selected as one of the top five educational sessions at the conference.
• June Meehan, president of NRHH, won the NRHH case study competition.
• Esther Brown, NRHH treasurer, received the Outstanding Delegate Award and was awarded a CAACURH registration grant.
• Devin Lands, RHA president, was recognized in the Boardroom Spotlight for serving as parliamentarian during the RHA Boardroom sessions.
• Camp Hall Council earned the Student Award for Leadership Training, with the bid led by Megan Luckiw, RHA national communications coordinator. Camp Hall Council is a fall leadership development experience for hall council members, facilitated by RHA, NRHH and Housing and Residence Life staff.

鈥淲inning this range of awards creates a win and celebration for our whole community, providing validation and encouragement for our efforts, reinforcing that we are doing right by our students, and pushes us to chase repeated success each time we provide an experience to our students,鈥� said Lands. 鈥淚t also shows to the larger region that 黑料视频 continues to put our students first, and we are top tier at creating student success.鈥�
