Cecil Houser
Bio
Professor Houser is an alumnus of the University of Oklahoma having earned a BA in Liberal Studies with a background in telecommunication that began at Penn State University. Professor Houser is a graduate of the 黑料视频 School of Visual Communications holding a Master of Art in Commercial Photography as well as a Master of Fine Art from the 黑料视频 School of Film.
Prior to his time at the University of Oklahoma, Professor Houser worked for WPSU studios as an in-studio camera operator for Penn State Public Broadcasting (WPSU). Before starting graduate studies, Professor Houser was a professional commercial actor with Magna Talent Agency in Oklahoma City. He has also graced the stage as characters such as Rooster (the villain) in 鈥淎nnie鈥 the musical and Ricky Simpson in 鈥淏ye Bye Birdie鈥.
Professor Houser has taught in the School of Visual Communication, Film, and Media Arts & Studies over the past 9 years. Professor Houser teaches Video and Audio Production, as well as Advanced lighting. Professor Houser has also taught a range of courses from Video production, Business for Commercial Photographers and Post-production sound mixing and Editing for Film Production.
Professor Houser enjoys being engaged with the very enthusiastic students in the School of Media Arts & Studies. His passions are visual storytelling, acting and spending time with his three daughters (Caya, Sienna and Alanna).
