Kassandra Aleksiejczyk
Basic Needs Program Manager
354 Baker University Center
Kassandra joined the Office of the Dean of Students in Fall 2025 as the Basic Needs Program Manager working alongside a graduate assistant, social work interns, and student pantry workers to help connect students with essential resources.
Growing up in nearby Meigs county, Kassandra earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering from Shawnee State University and a Master of Education in College Student Personnel here at OHIO. Kassandra spent 3 years as a Residence Life Coordinator at the University of South Carolina and 5 years at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. There, she served in a one-stop office assisting students with financial aid, billing, and registration processes as a Student Services Specialist and later as an Assistant Director.
Kassandra cares deeply about access to basic needs for Appalachian communities and OHIO students and is thankful to be back serving the region. Kassandra and her husband Dan, who also works at OHIO, enjoy coffee shops, exploring new cities and revisiting old ones, and attempting to manage their husky and two cats.
