Access Your Applicant Status Portal

Your applicant status portal is where you can check your application status and view your next steps. After you apply, you will receive an email from ºÚÁÏÊÓÆµ Undergraduate Admissions at the email address you listed on your application with instructions for accessing your personalized portal. You will also find information there about required next steps, upcoming visits and events and ways to stay connected with OHIO during the admissions process.

Some programs have more selective criteria above and beyond general admission guidelines and require submission of additional application materials. You should review the requirements for your major and submit any additional required materials.

You can check your application status any time in your applicant status portal. Statuses are updated at least nightly. Please remember that while we may have received your application materials, we can provide updates only on those materials that have been processed. After an item is received, it may take up to two weeks for it to be processed.

Students who are not initially admitted to the University or, in some cases, to a more selective program, may appeal the decision. Appeals, including supporting documents, may be submitted via the applicant status portal.

OHIO Online and College Credit Plus Applicants

Activate Your OHIO ID

Once your application is received and begins processing, Undergraduate Admissions will send you an application acknowledgement letter with your Personal Identification (PID). Use your PID to activate your OHIO ID and create a password. After you activate your OHIO ID, you will be able to , where you will find important updates on your next steps from campus offices and resources. Please allow 7-10 business days to receive your application acknowledgement letter.
