American Council on Education Credit Recommendations

OHIO awards credit for alternative credit options that have been recommended for college-credit by the American Council on Education (ACE). We evaluate courses individually to determine if we can award direct equivalency or elective credit.

How to Receive Credit for ACE Coursework:

  1. Request that the awarding institution (e.g., Sophia Learning) send your transcript to ACE (not directly to OHIO).
  2. ACE will generate digital badges within 7–14 days.
  3. Create an account with Credly or Accredible to access your ACE digital badges.
  4. Submit a free ACE transcript — including credit recommendations — to ºÚÁÏÊÓƵ: admissions@ohio.edu
