During Experience the Arts Day, experience for yourself the vibrant community of artists, performers, educators and scholars that make up OHIO's Chaddock + Morrow College of Fine Arts. Choose from a full day of in-depth artistic offerings like a facilities tours, workshops, class observations, student performances and faculty meet and greets!

High school seniors who sign up for Experience the Arts Day have exclusive access to auditions and portfolio reviews that count towards the admission application in the School of Theater and the School of Dance. Faculty-led lessons will be offered for the School of Music, and portfolio feedback sessions will be offered for the School of Art + Design and the School of Film. At these lessons or feedback sessions, you will receive individualized feedback on your work, get tips on submitting your portfolio/preparing for your audition, and learn about your next steps at OHIO.

Find out how OHIO and the Chaddock + Morrow College of Fine Arts deliver a unique experience that empowers future artists and arts professionals, inspires originality and will help you create your place in the world. 

Academic Information Sessions | 10:30 a.m.
Learn more about your academic program of interest at an Academic Information session and hear from faculty and representatives from your selected school. Select from a session with the School of Art + Design, School of Dance, School of Film, School of Music or School of Theater.

Lunch & Learn | 12:30-1:45 p.m.
Chat with current students and college representatives while you join us for lunch!

Next Steps | 2-3:30 p.m.
Learn more about your next steps to becoming a Bobcat in the Chaddock + Morrow College of Fine Arts. Ask any questions you have about applying, auditioning, portfolio reviews and more.

Academic Breakout Sessions | 2-5 p.m.
A variety of breakout session options will be available for students to Experience the Arts! If you are considering multiple majors or interested in pursuing a major in interdisciplinary art, this is your opportunity to explore multiple programs and tracks throughout the afternoon.

Campus Tour | 3:30-5 p.m.
Tour our beautiful and historic campus with a student tour guide!

Optional: Auditions & Portfolio Reviews | By Appointment
Optional: Participate in an audition, interview or portfolio review for your intended major while you're here on campus. If you're not ready to audition or submit your portfolio yet, there will be more opportunities throughout the year.
