  • Activate your OHIO ID to access your OHIO e-mail and the housing contract. Your birth date and personal identification (PID) number are all you need to activate your online OHIO access.

  • Pay the $200 housing deposit soon to retain any scholarships you have been offered and to secure 2026-2027 residence hall placement.

  • OHIO's 2026-2027 First-Priority FAFSA Consideration Date
    • Priority financial aid offers are provided to students whose FAFSA results are received at OHIO by January 15, 2026.
  • Updated GPA and/or Test Score Receipt Deadline
    • Revised credentials, including GPA and ACT/SAT, if you choose to submit test scores, received by January 15 will be used for scholarship consideration.

  • Initial freshmen Financial Aid Offers are mailed to students beginning in early March.

  • Continuing undergraduate, new transfer, and all graduate student Aid Offers are expected to be available in April. Check your To Do List to ensure all requirements are met.

  • Paying the housing deposit or submitting your commuter exemption form confirms your intent to enroll at OHIO by May 1.

  • All students must review the Undergraduate or Graduate Catalog annually to stay up-to-date on University policies.

  • All students must review the Student Code of Conduct annually.
  • Review Financial Aid Resources
  • Make sure to review the Consumer Information to be aware of your rights and responsibilities as a student. Student loan borrowers review the Student Loan Code of Conduct.

  • OHIO's 2026-2027 First Priority FAFSA Consideration Date - Transfer Students
  • Incoming transfer students must be admitted and complete the FAFSA by May 15 to be considered for first-priority financial aid.

  • All students should review the To-Do List on the OHIO Student Center and complete any requirements listed.

  • Student financial account balances are due August 21. Any unpaid balances after the 21st of each month are charged a 1.5% late fee assessed on remaining balance.
  • Enroll in Monthly Payment Plan
  • Students wishing to divide the account balance over three equal monthly payments may enroll in the monthly payment plan.
  • Complete Alcohol Edu and Review Sexual Assault Education Programs
  • Incoming students are required to complete Alcohol Educ and review the sexual assault education materials prior to coming to campus. All students should review this information annually.

  • Student financial account balances are due August 21. Any unpaid balances after the 21st of each month are charged a 1.5% late fee assessed on the remaining balance.
