Teaching rates outlined in this section also applied to the 2024-2025 academic year. 

Rates for OHIO Tenured, Tenure-Track, Instructional, Early Retiree & Visiting Faculty

*Courses with enrollments between 1-10 students are not guaranteed but may continue, with approval from Regional Higher Education, based on student degree progression or completion requirements.

**Course facilitators are strongly encouraged for courses that exceed 50 enrollments. 
Faculty receive $500 stipend for each facilitator they supervise.

Payment Example

38 students in a 3 credit hour course
$1,400 base x 3 cr = $4,200
13 students x $44 x 3 cr = $1,716
Total pay = $5,916

$1,100 base x 3 cr = $3,300
4 students x $40 x 3 cr = $480

Rates for Facilitators

Facilitators for regional online courses will be compensated $94 / assigned student per three credit hour course. The rate will be adjusted proportionally for courses that are more or less than three credit hours.
