Pay to Print
All ºÚÁÏÊÓƵ regional campuses (Chillicothe, Eastern, Lancaster, Southern and Zanesville) use the Pharos Pay-to-Print system to manage printing and the collection of payment for printing services.
This system aligns with ºÚÁÏÊÓƵ Athens, offering a consistent experience across all OHIO campuses. Rather than collecting coins or bills for each page printed, students will be able to load money onto their Bobcat Cash account.
How Does It Work?
When ready to print, users will simply swipe their ºÚÁÏÊÓƵ ID cards to release print jobs, and the cost will be automatically deducted from their Bobcat Cash account. If they decide not to print a document or if the print job is too large, users can cancel it and save money.
An OHIO ID card doubles as a printing card. Simply upload funds to the Bobcat Cash account using a credit or debit card. Guests who wish to use this service can obtain a printing card at every campus library.
Print From a Phone
Mobile printing offers a convenient way to send files directly to printers from your mobile devices. By visiting while connect to campus Wi-Fi (eduroam), you can easily upload documents to your print queue. The service supports several common file formats and works most efficiently with small files containing standard layouts. Whether you're using a cell phone, iPad, tablet, notebook, laptop, or other device, mobile printing makes it simple to print on the go.
Print By Email
To print a document via email, attach the file to an email from your OHIO email address. For black and white printing, email your document to mobileprint@ohio.edu, and for color printing, send it to mobileprintcolor@ohio.edu. Note that mobileprint@ohio.edu will only print in grayscale, even if you're sending the document to a color printer.
After sending the email, wait for a confirmation message informing you that your document is ready. Within one hour, visit any campus, ensuring it matches your document's print type (Black and White or Color).
To release your print job, swipe your OHIO University ID card and follow the instructions on the card reader. If you don’t have your ID card, simply tap the card reader screen and enter your OHIO ID and password.
